About the Project
For its new permanent exhibition on Minoritenstraße the museum needed two ship models from the exhibition designers’ sketch and 3D model. For the Niederländer the sketch dimensions did not match the 3D model, which only surfaced during production.
We followed the 3D model and agreed the dimensions with the designers. For the Niederländer that meant a larger block of German oak.
Check 3D model → Agree dimensions with the designers → Production in wood → Paving model → Delivery to Cologne.
Both models went to Cologne in November 2023, together with the paving for the Stolperstein model.
