About the Project
HAIX needed an oversized shoe as a photorealistic facade piece in Egerkingen: weatherproof, mountable on the canopy, and true enough to the product icon that the brand reads instantly at distance. Structure, paint, and outdoor durability were tougher than for an indoor figure.
XXL shoe sculpture as a facade anchor: GRP body with airbrush paint that stays readable from the street and sits load- and weather-ready on the canopy, product as architectural sign with a clear product icon from afar.
3D modeling → CNC → GRP → Airbrush paint → Canopy mount.
The approx. 3 m shoe sculpture is mounted on the canopy and delivers photorealistic exterior impact on the building. As an XXL mobile / facade installation it remains a lasting brand anchor for passers-by and campaign photography.
Facade and canopy need weatherproofing and mountability: GRP holds structure and outdoor durability for the XXL product icon.
Glass-fiber reinforced plastic for XXL objects that must stay light yet hold up outdoors and in transport.
The product icon must read instantly at distance: CNC turns the 3D model into a true XXL shoe form.
